	Episode Title: "FACES" Production Number: 814 Original Air Date: 05-08-95 Stardates: 48784.2 Synopsis: The Voyager is returning from its survey of the Avery system to retrieve Torres, Paris, and Durst, who were inspecting the magnesite formations on the third planet, but the three officers have been captured by Vidiians. Sulan, chief surgeon of the Vidiian Sodality, has separated B'Elanna Torres's genome into two individuals -- a Klingon and a human -- in order to study a pure Klingon's resistance to the Phage. Sulan also kills Lt. Durst to harvest his organs, and keeps Durst's face for himself. The Emergency Medical Hologram surgically alters Chakotay to look like a Vidiian so he can infiltrate their facility on the planet. The Klingon half of Torres is killed in the escape, but the E.M.H. is able to re-integrate her Klingon DNA with the fully human Torres, since she needs all of her DNA to survive. Factoid: B'Elanna Torres grew up on a colony on Kessik Four; she and her mother were the only Klingons there. Her father left when she was five years old. Guest Characters: Lt.
