Synopsis: While returning aboard the Delta Flyer from negotiations on the Kesat homeworld, Neelix and Tuvok are attacked by a cloaked alien race whose energy weapon damages Tuvok's brain.

The Voyager crew must find the mysterious race in order to help Tuvok recover. A Kesat investigator believes Tuvok's attackers are the Ba'Neth, whom the Kesat believe to be a myth.
