ArkoniansPhysical Attributes: Humanoid-reptilian. Historical Notes: Arkonians are a hostile and territorial race. After 2052, not long after the Arkonians developed warp drive, Vulcans made first contact with them, but the Arkonians were suspicious and deceitful, and the Vulcan High Command eventually withdrew its contingent. Nearly 100 years later, an Arkonian military vessel made first contact with the Earth starship Enterprise, when both ships worked together to find an Arkonian patrol ship and an Enterprise shuttlepod missing in a gas giant system. Arkonians can spit venom containing enzymes that instantly heal flesh wounds. The Arkonian endocrine system is extremely sensitive to temperature fluctuations. Arkonians do not sweat to regulate their bodies' temperature. Arkonians drink a brown liquid called Taratt-aash. |
