Production Number: 034 Original Air Date: 11-13-02 Stardates: ~ Synopsis: After a visit to a planet with a pre-warp culture, Lt. Reed realizes that he left his communicator on the planet. Reed and Captain Archer return to the planet to find it, but they are captured by soldiers who think Archer and Reed are spies from the Alliance there to spy on Chancellor Kultarey. The soldiers examine them and discover their alien physiology, but Archer and Reed convince them that they are genetically engineered soldiers from the Alliance, and their communicators and phase pistol are experimental prototypes. On the Enterprise, Commander Tucker works on the Suliban Cell-Ship -- which he has been studying since he used it to rescue Klaang from the Suliban Helix a year ago -- and gets the cloaking system working. Tucker and Subcommander T'Pol use the cloaked Cell-Ship to land on the planet and break Archer and Reed out of prison, retreiving all their equipment to prevent any further contamination of the planet's culture.
