Production Number: 037 Original Air Date: 12-11-02 Stardates: September 12, 2152 Synopsis: The Enterprise answers a distress call from a Retellian cargo ship, which is transporting an alien woman in a stasis pod that is malfunctioning. The Enterprise docks with the Retellian ship, and Commander Tucker works to repair the stasis pod. When the pod shuts down, Tucker opens it before the woman suffocates, but he is knocked out by the Retellians and their ship breaks free from the Enterprise docking clamps and flees. Commander Tucker learns that the woman is Kaitaama, First Monarch of the Sovereign Dynasty of Krios Prime, who has been kidnapped and held for ransom by the Retellians. Tucker and Kaitaama sneak into an escape pod and head for a nearby star system before the Retellians realize they are gone. They land on a tropical island on a water planet. Aboard the Enterprise, Captain Archer threatens a captured Retellian crew member with severe Vulcan justice unless he helps the Enterprise track his ship and recover Commander Tucker.
