Production Number: 003 Original Air Date: 10-03-01 Stardates: May 6, 2151 Synopsis: The Enterprise comes across an Axanar ship whose crew has been killed by aliens who are draining triglobulin from the crew's bodies. Lieutenant Reed tries to get the targeting systems of the Enterprise's torpedoes working before the aliens return to harvest the fluids. Ensign Hoshi Sato wants to resign from Starfleet and go back to Earth, but she realizes that her linguistic skills make her a valuable communications officer, and that she will get over her fear and anxiety of space travel eventually.
