Synopsis: Captain Archer and the Enterprise arrive at a deuterium mining facility that a Kreetassan merchant told them about. In exchange for some needed fuel, they help the miners repair their deuterium pumps, but Korok, a Klingon freighter captain, arrives and threatens the miners if they do not supply him with all the deuterium he wants.

Archer and his crew decide to help the miners defend themselves from the Klingon maurauders; they teach the miners to use their fire arms more effectively, as well as some Vulcan martial arts moves to defend themselves from armed Klingons. The Enterprise crew helps the miners lay a trap for the Klingons, and the miners give the Enterprise crew the needed deuterium.

Factoid: The deuterium miners have trouble with Shib'a lizards chewing on their power couplings.

Factoid: Klingons carry disruptors, but prefer to use bladed weapons in combat, including the bat'leth -- a curved bilateral sword that can decapitate its victim with one stroke -- and the mek'leth -- a two-pronged dagger, which is typically used to slash the throat or disembowel.

Factoid: The Vulcan martial art Suus Mahna takes years to master. A move to dodge an attack by a bladed weapon is called the Navorkot.
