Production Number: 055 Original Air Date: 09-24-03 Stardates: ~ Synopsis: In the Xindi database recovered from the Osaarians, Captain Archer finds the last planet visited by the Xindi ship before it was attacked by the Osaarian marauders. The Enterprise arrives at the planet, which has no signs of humanoid life, but Captain Archer leads a landing party to investigate a crashed Xindi craft on the surface. Members of the landing party begin transforming into an alien race, except for T'Pol, whose Vulcan physiology resists the genetic changes. The transformed landing party is compelled by instinct to seek out Urquat, an underground city to the east. Dr. Phlox determines that a mutagenic virus is transforming the landing party, but Vulcan K-cells neutralize the pathogen. He uses a sample of T'Pol's DNA to create a treatment for the virus. Two alien ships approach the Enterprise and declare it a quarantine zone. The aliens want to kill anyone infected with the mutagenic virus to keep it from spreading. The Loque'eque, who once inhabited this planet, lost the ability to reproduce centuries ago, so they created the virus to transform other species into Loque'eque to maintain their population. Phlox uses T'Pol's DNA to create a cure, which the Enterprise shares with the aliens enforcing the quarantine. Alien Races: *Loque'eque Starships:
